PRIME GROUP RESIDENTIAL | PRIVATE MULTIFAMILY INVESTMENT FIRM | DIGITAL MARKETING + SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE, AND REPUTATION MANAGEMENT

PREMISE:

From December 2017 to January 2019, I worked as the Social Media Manager at Prime Group Residential, one of the largest privately-owned multifamily investment firms in the U.S. It was an extremely enjoyable experience, where I had the opportunity to get to know a bit more about the real estate game as well as help them greatly increase their digital and social presence.

My work included content calendar and editorial management for several different apartment communities, strategy and promotional campaign management, creating shareable content, photography, video editing, community management, running and optimizing ads on Google, Facebook, and Instagram to source leads and potential new residents, and providing monthly analytics reports and suggestions for growth. I also oversaw our communities’ overall online reputation management, assisting with boosting our scores and getting more positive testimonials and experiences shared online on platforms like Yelp, Google Reviews, and ApartmentRatings.com. This included educating our community managers on the importance of your online footprint and coaching them on how to generate more positive responses from our residents.

In addition to those efforts, I also helped re-launch and refresh our apartment communities’ websites and mobile apps - helping with SEO, a more modern, mobile-friendly re-branding, updating information and photography, and making a medley of videos and 360 apartment tours.

RESULTS:

Our website transition and refresh was a massive success, resulting in 124,000+ visitors, a reduced bounce rate of nearly 30% and an average session duration of 3 minutes and 12 seconds across the portfolio. My reputation management efforts contributed to a significant increase in property portfolio scores - raising our portfolio average from a 2.97 to 3.14 average in just ten months (a 5.72% increase!). All paid search and social initiatives I lead and managed saw great traction and performance - resulting in over 280 new generated leads over portfolio with a cost per click of $1.97 and click through rate of 8.47% (compared to industry benchmarks of $2.37 CPC and 3.71% CTR).
